Radio Northwick Park has been nominated for three awards in the Hospital Broadcasting Association’s National Awards.

Ben Punter is up for “Male Presenter of the Year”, Lauren Rich is nominated for “Female Presenter of the Year” and the entire station has been nominated for the prestigious “Station of the Year”.

They will be up against other Hospital Radio Stations from all over the country and the awards will be given out at a special ceremony on Saturday the 29th March 2008 at Queens Hotel in Leeds as part of the Hospital Broadcasting Association’s Spring Conference weekend.

The awards are a way of recognising the hard work and effort that volunteers put into their radio stations around the country. The conference that goes along with it also allows these volunteers to get together and talk about their radio stations and exchange ideas.
