Some members of Radio Northwick Park were invited to the London 2012 Roadshow which came to Harrow Leisure Centre on the 16th February 2008 to interview the Mayor, Councillors, and local athletes as they promoted sport and activity in the local community.With microphones in hand, they set off and spoke with anyone they could, getting their opinions on sport provision, the plans in place for 2012 and the proposed changes to the Leisure Centre.

They even interviewed Maggie Alphonsi, Olympic Silver Medallist in Womens rugby along with up and coming child athletes.

All this information will be put together to form a special, Olympic, show which will be broadcast exclusively on Radio Northwick Park.
