Monday, February 2nd, 2009

Radio Northwick Park member, Heena Tailor, has been awarded the Jack Petchey Achievement Award for her substantial involvement in the charity. Heena joined RNP in 2005 and quickly became an important member of her request night.

The Jack Petchey Foundation, established in 1999, is a grant giving charity that funds programmes and projects benefiting young people aged 11-25, in London and Essex. Their major focus is the Achievement Award Scheme, however, the foundation also gives grants through Sponsorship and Project Grants.

Heena Tailor received a certificate and £300, which will be put towards improving the services which the radio station offers to the patients and staff of Northwick Park Hospital and those in the local community.
