Huge Success at HBA Awards
Radio Northwick Park had a fantastic result at the Hospital Broadcasting Association Awards in Blackpool over the weekend, returning home with 5 awards. The most awards Radio Northwick Park has ever won in one year.
Ben Punter won a Silver Award for Best Male Presenter. When asked how he felt about winning his award, he said “It was great, I was so nervous before hand and it was a relief for it to be over with.”
Their two nominees for Best Female Presenter also walked away with awards, Lauren Rich won Silver and Biba Hunjan won Bronze.
Radio Northwick Park’s good fortune didn’t end there, winning a Silver Award for Station Promotion and receiving Highly Commended for the station’s Special Event, the 24 Hour Challenge.
Matt Blank, Chairman of Radio Northwick Park said “it was an incredibly successful time for us. Five awards in one year is a record for Radio Northwick Park and something we can all be extremely proud of.”
