It’s just over one month to go till Hospital Broadcasting Week 2010
(27th March - 5th April 2010)

A week that celebrates everything about Hospital Radio and creating awareness to patients, staff & listeners of who we are and what we do.

Now there are some “Big” & “Clever” ideas in the pipeline (details coming soon)

But untill then, If you have any suggestions of ways to celebrate Hospital Broadcasting Week,
Be it, on the Request Show or even your own Show, then lets the ideas begin.

> Co-host with someone you've never hosted with before.
> Request Night Swap-around

How about...

...similar to the way that dessert island discs was presented; have a guest every day in HBW, (a local guest that is), maybe a house doctor, ward nurse, Hosp Administrator, surgeon, long term patients ... you know what I mean....

They can share a bit of their lives with listeners and tell us about their favourite songs and music!!!

Here's an idea which can be filed under "long-winded"

As Its Hospital Broadcasting Week all theses ideas dont have to just be for Request show they can also be for ANY show...

Step 1) Take the 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm Presenters and stick them on the Request Show together.

Step 2) At same time Replace 5pm, 6pm, 7pm 8pm Slots with New Shows, New Host & new Ideas for One Week
Only.(Engineer Training Pending )

That's a fair point really. Though I'd feel a tad silly in the studio in fancy dress... on my own...

The 2010 HBA Broadcasting Week Jingles are Now on OTS.
in the Folder/tab "HB Week"

Also well done to Monday Night for kicking off this Week by Playing "HBA Week-Hide & Seek"
