I have been invited to download this and heard various things about it..... what is it and is it any good?

Any good or bad experiences anyone had?

Thanks.

Simply.............its the Best

A Digital Music library, where all the music is streamed instantly in Full, in High Quality for Free

IMHO its has a better collection of stuff than itunes, more obscure stuff,
its a more modern and interested way of discovering music new, old & very Old.

There's only a little down side and that is that it might not have major artists such as Beatles, Oasis etc etc
Even the Ads arent as annoying as people make out.

Get It......Its Brilliant,

Wow! Just did it- looking absolutely great! Adverts are okay like you said Ben, except the MPS one *-)

and I don't like The Beatles or Oasis, so perfect!! :D

Lovin' it! It even has songs by their popularity- For example, Billy Fury's 'Jealousy' is his 7th most popular song at the moment! That's gonna be a feature I'm gonna use on my show! ...if that's allowed of course *-)

So, first song I listened to... Billy Fury and "Somebody Else's Girl" and it's from an album that I am credited on!! How exciting!!! Lovin' it!!!!!!

It's even got some really rare country stuff that I thought was only in my collection!

Cheers Ben!

Does listening to music on Spotify count as part of your broadband "dowload" limit, etc?

Yes - as it's streaming the music, that means it's downloading it as it plays, temporarily caching it on your computer, then deleting it when you close the program.

I love Spotify too :D

Thanks Adam. Does that apply to when you listen to radio stations too then?

Yes it does - it's exactly the same principle, except in the case of online radio the data isn't cached for very long, as one doesn't tend to rewind live radio.

Oh.... Thanks again Adam...

I spoke to someone from BT last week who said streaming radio stations doesn't count as part of a downloading allowance?!!!

I only ask because I am always listening to radio/music from the web and I am looking to change my ISP, so need to consider this!
