Tracks from the Racks is an album-based show with a not-too-heavy rock feel to it. The show gets its appalling title from the way in which the music is chosen from the extensive and diverse library I keep anywhere I can find space at home. Musically, I try to follow the American ‘wave’ format where each song flows from the previous choice, avoiding the standard commercial radio format of well known, tried and tested hits. I personally believe it is more entertaining for listeners to hear something new or unexpected, assuming it will suit the ears of our listener demographic.
